These timelines should give you an idea of what hourly coverage works best for you based on what you want captured for your day! Obviously these timelines aren’t set in stone. Minimalist Package Timeline Example (2 Hours)

LDS Temple Wedding

1. Temple exit followed by family photos, and 10-15 minutes of couples portraits around the temple
2. Last hour of the reception with cake cutting, dancing, and exit

Church, Outdoor, or Venue Ceremony

1. Ceremony followed by family photos and couples portraits around the venue
2. Last hour of the reception with cake cutting, dancing, and exit

Classic Package Timeline Example (4 Hours)

LDS Temple Wedding

1. Temple exit followed by family photos, bridal party photos
2. 30 minutes of couples portraits and luncheon
3. Reception including details and greeting guests
4. Continuation of reception including games, cake cutting, dancing, and exit

Church, Outdoor, or Venue Ceremony

1. Getting ready photos, first look with groom and/or dad, and ceremony
2. Family photos, bridal party photos, and 20 minutes of couples portraits
3. Cocktail Hour including details and greeting guests
4. The reception including games, cake cutting, dancing, and exit

Diamond Package Timeline Example (8 Hours)

LDS Temple Wedding

1. Getting ready photos and detail shots/flat lays
2. Temple exit, family photos and bridal party photos
3. Portraits of the couple around the temple
4. Ring ceremony and luncheon
5. Speeches and games
6. Reception with greeting guests
7. Continuation of reception with cutting cake and dances
8. Continuation of reception and exit

Church, Outdoor, or Venue Ceremony

1. Getting ready photos and detail shots/flat lays
2. First look with groom, dad, or bridesmaids; ceremony; and family photos
3. Bridal party photos, and couples portraits while cocktail hour is set up, signing of marriage license
4. Cocktail hour with details, grand entrance, and greeting guests
5. First dance, daddy-daughter dance, mom-son dance, and dinner
6. Speeches, cake cutting, guests invited to dance, 15 minutes of sunset photos
7. Dancing and bouquet toss
8. Dancing and last dance for the couple while guests prepare for the exit
