This Antelope Island Engagement Photoshoot gave us a gorgeous sunset and some color to an otherwise snowy Utah during the winter months. Deciding on a location in the winter in Utah can be difficult. Especially if you love to have warmer colors, and don’t want to sink in the snow, we have to get a little creative on locations. However, Antelope Island is perfect for your engagement or bridal photoshoot if you want a unique landscape and don’t want to drive to Southern Utah!
While Antelope Island does get snow, it melts a lot faster than Cache Valley, so chances are you will be able to avoid snow if you stick around Ladyfinger Campground. The other side of the island has more snow coverage as the altitude gets a little higher. So you can even get best of both worlds if you really wanted!
I have yet to even explore the majority of Antelope Island. There is so many unique spots and hikes available, and its nice to have the restrooms at the campsites if you’re in need of an outfit change.
If you want to find more about Antelope Island, you can check out this website which can show you more of what it has to offer! Contact me to schedule your shoot here or to talk about some other location options for warmer colors in a winter filled Utah!
