Such a fun early June wedding at the Logan Temple for Ben & Hailey! I love the way these two make each other smile and laugh. One of my favorite parts of their day was that they decided to do private vows at the bench in front of the temple. I think everyone should have a chance to do that sometime during their wedding day- whether it’s photographed or not. I’ve seen some couples start to do it during their first look/bridal photo session and I love that idea too!
After family pictures and portraits around the Logan temple after their wedding ceremony, they had a dance filled reception at Birch Creek Golf Course. This is a fun venue spot if you want somewhere that’s indoor with some outdoor seating, and a great view of Cache Valley! This was my first reception here, but definitely support more receptions coming to this location.
I was totally surprised by their fun exit idea! Ben is going to pilot school right now and so they incorporated that into their exit. They both came out in pilot suits and sunglasses and the guests threw paper airplanes that had been pre-folded and clipped on a string for everyone to grab after. What a fun way to incorporate your interests into your wedding day! There are honestly a lot of fun ways to do different exit outfits outside of your wedding dress to consider! You could pick a short and flowy dress, something really colorful, a jumpsuit, or any other kind of fun (and it’s okay to be extra, it’s your wedding day) outfit! Then you can be cozy in the car too wherever you’re going after. It’s a win.
