Utah Lake is located near Provo and Orem area and makes for gorgeous sunsets and a perfect spot for a maternity shoot. However, mornings make for good lighting too! This shoot was taken right after sunrise. You can drive around to the other side of the lake if you want the full view in a morning shoot, but this parking lot is closest to the highway and still has some beautiful spots that allow you to get some lake in the background without having to drive to the other side of the lake in the morning.

Utah Lake was a beautiful choice for location for this maternity shoot! Rynn and James dressed so cute for this shoot; like, get a look at those adorable overalls! If you’re ever in question if you should get a maternity shoot, just go for it! It’s such an exciting transition into growing your family. Even if it’s not your first child, maternity photos create a memory for your future child. And it’s a time for you to take a moment to appreciate yourself and get glammed up:)
