Moab, Utah is seriously so stunning. Random side trail? Perfect spot for a photoshoot. Being a photographer makes Moab Utah one of my perfect playgrounds.
Aside from Moab, the people I’ve met there are incredible! Grizel and Eric are the perfect example of spontaneous and playful. Due to the time we had in Moab, we were able to take these pictures just as the sun was setting. Despite it, the pictures came smoothly and with little effort as they just did their thing. What’s more, is that Grizel Caminas is a mental health advocate and hosts a podcast called Underneath It All. One of my favorite parts of this job is meeting such cool people. Check out her podcast if you have a minute!
Goes to show that your photoshoot is all about you! It’s about capturing you and your partner’s personalities. My biggest advice for any shoot is to just pretend I’m not there. Just love each other, be playful with each other. It makes a huge difference.
While some couples are super comfortable in front of the camera, some aren’t! You can look at one of my blog posts on engagements posing for ideas if you know you’re not comfortable in front of the camera. This is a great, simple resource for both photographers and clients.
While I am based out of Logan, Utah, I can be your go to Moab Utah Photographer. Moab is one of my favorite weekend trips and I’ll take any excuse to get out there and find some new locations! Between the national park itself, Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, and all the side trails outside of town, there is an endless supply of beautiful spots for photos. It can be as unique as you and your partner!
